Licensing is your responsibility
You must hold all licences needed to broadcast the music and other content on your station in every country where it can be heard. CastOnAir provides the technology; it does not license content.
Not allowed
- Broadcasting content you do not have the rights to.
- Illegal content, or content that promotes violence, terrorism or hatred against people because of who they are.
- Content that sexually exploits anyone, or sexual content involving minors in any form.
- Harassment, threats, or sharing other people’s private information.
- Malware, phishing, spam, or attempts to break into our systems or other accounts.
- Reselling or relaying our streams in ways your plan does not include, or deliberately overloading our servers.
What we do
If we find or are told about a breach, we may remove content, suspend a stream or close an account. Where we can, we will contact you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
Copyright complaints
If you believe a station on CastOnAir is broadcasting your copyrighted work without permission, email support@castonair.com (subject: Copyright complaint) with:
- your name and contact details;
- the work you believe is being infringed;
- the station name or stream link and when you heard it;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and that the information you give is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
We review every complaint, may suspend the content while we investigate, and will tell the station so it can respond. We may close accounts that repeatedly infringe.
